Track Hobby Center March 18th, 2010 Whether your looking for parts or for just a fun, friendly drag race, Fas Track would be a great choice. With a large line of parts for your slot car needs available in the shop, owner, Mike Leech, also carries a large selection of models and RC parts. For anyone interested in trains and planes, you can also find a selection of parts and models for those as well. If you are into hobbies Mike has the parts you need. Fas Track, has an 1/8 mile slot car drag strip located in the rear of the building. The track is equipped with a light sensor timing system, the system is older with the lights that allow you to see the filaments warm up and cool down, witch as an older race I love. The surface of the track looks very slick but in reality it is very smooth and the cars hook up very well. There is plenty of room around the track for seating and sitting up boxes. You also have plenty of access to outlets if you should need one. Testing and tuning is available at the track anytime during normal business hours as well as before racing begins. Bracket racing begins at 5:00pm and runs until there is a winner. There is also a B-Stock Class using a Mini Brute Motor, which is a lot of fun. The season Starts around November through April. Because most of the regulars have big cars. Races are directed by Chris W. Chris is a great guy as well as a great builder. The atmosphere at the track is very friendly and the racers, most being regulars, are very laid back and friendly. I would highly recommend Fas Track for parts as well as racing, to anyone who might be in the area or just passing through. Trigger Critic A special thanks to Fas Track Hobby Center 77 Dayton Rd.
