| Bracket500 Outlaw World Series Goals · A global contest over a few months: Nov 2010 to March 2011 · A few simple car rules that all participants agree on and abide by. · International racing on a budget, without the traveling costs. Race Format · Any track/Country/Manufacturer wanting to participate can enter a single “team” car (8 maximum, first in first served). · The cars will be shipped between participating tracks (Local promoters expense to get the cars to the next track). The local promoter will be responsible for arranging a driver for each car. · The allocated driver will be responsible for racing the car at the event, they must practice sufficiently to be able to set a suitable dial- in and they complete any maintenance required before the car is sent to the next venue (around the world). · Dial-in bracket, knock-out elimination NO buybacks. · In addition to the respective meeting win, 10 Points are accumulated for each round win for each car at each track. An overall World Series point position will awarded at the conclusion of the series. · A concourse racers vote to be held at each track prior to the racing event: 1st +20 series points; 2nd +15 series points; 3rd +10 series points. · At the conclusion of the series, Cars will be returned to the respective track(s) or donated in terms of their instructions. Car rules Cars will be affordable and low maintenance. Body: Cars to resemble current “Outlaw 10.5” type cars - full hard body ‘pro street’, general factory appearing, stock wheelbase cars with lights, bumpers etc. (no roadsters or Funny cars). No major body modifications; but must have Pro Stock (not Pro Mod) style wing; some appearance of induction (i.e. min 3/8” high hood scoop/ cowling or visible turbos) or injectors or supercharger). Must have a fully painted driver/interior. Only contingency, track or country stickers and a mandatory Bracket500 logo. Minimum total height 2” from track to top of roof (no ultra slammed cars). Bracket500 must approve entry so ask any questions before you cut/build! Chassis: Any inline chassis, 5” wheelie bar maximum Motor: Any s16D, comprising unaltered, commercially available 16D parts. (Must be ceramic magnets, manufacturer tagged arm) Wheels/Tires: Any wheels/Tires Front: 1” minimum diameter Rear: 1-3/16” minimum diameter x .400” minimum width. Ball bearings: prohibited everywhere. |
